Training

Training seminars are provided by both national and local Solar professionals related to solar energy field. We currently offer three seminars, however custom seminars and training sessions can be created to serve the specific needs of a group.

Photovoltaics and The Future
Participants in the PV Design & Installation workshop learn how to use PV (photovoltaic) technology to produce their own electricity from the sun through practical design and installation of PV systems. Participants learn system sizing, site analysis, hardware specification and component selection. The workshop covers typical applications and case study examples. Install an operational system in the field and learn the proper use of tools and safety precautions. This workshop is for the beginner who wants to use PV or for those seeking employment in the solar industry. This workshop is certified by the Institute of Sustainable Power and fulfills one of the requirements for national photovoltaic certification. See www.nabcep.org for more information. Check out our Women's PV Design & Installation workshops as well! Topics Include
